VeriMar
VR Simulator
Onsite use of VR simulator onboard a vessel or on land at the customer's premises.

This is made possible by the fact that the equipment used is mobile and can be used almost anywhere.
The challenge with the current way of solving the problem is that it is both expensive and time-consuming. The crew has to travel, and spend many days in hotels and spend time in what is actually their free time. It not only costs money, but is also unpopular among seafarers. In particular, the recent period with COVID19 has further actualized a solution as we think. The STCW Convention is vital in this process and VeriMar AS is committed to growing to become one of the largest course providers of courses in e-learning and VR simulator training in Norway together with our partners. We will offer a solution where training is done on board the vessel, or during the crew's on-board period. If necessary, the training can be done in connection with crew changes so that the crew does not have to use large parts of their free period for it. Our solution is based on the use of VR technology and equipment that can be easily placed on board, and which does not require large heavy installations of hardware and software such as can be found, for example, at Kongsberg Maritime or Canadian Virtual Marine. At the heart of our solution are Morild Interactive simulators and Flaim's fire simulators as well as other partners in VR. Contact us to hear more about what we can offer on sea and land.
